Simply.com AI Connector can do that

Simply.com AI Connector gives the AI assistant access to accounts, domains, DNS, email and hosting, so tasks can be completed directly in the conversation.

DNS

View, create, edit and delete DNS records. All common types are supported, e.g. A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, SRV, CAA and HTTPS, and the zone is reloaded automatically.

Security and control

Log in via the browser

The connection is authorised with OAuth 2.1 in the browser. There are no API keys to copy or save.

Same permissions as the user

The AI assistant can never do more than the user themselves can. Users with read access to an account can only view, not make changes.

No purchase can be made without the user

The AI assistant cannot order, cancel or pay. It can only create an order link, which the user completes themselves.

Revoke at any time

All connected AI assistants are shown under Connected apps in the control panel, where access can be revoked.

Automate with the REST API

For scripts, cron jobs, CI/CD pipelines and your own integrations, the Simply.com REST API is available. It provides access to DNS, domains, email, databases, subdomains, URL redirects and orders, and supports ACME DNS-01 for automatic issuance of SSL certificates.

No. Simply.com AI Connector is free to use and works with the products already on your Simply.com account.

A Simply.com user and an AI assistant that supports MCP. Select the tool above, run the command and log in with the browser.

Claude Code, Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Grok are shown above.

All MCP clients that support streamable HTTP and OAuth can connect to https://mcp.simply.com/v2.

There is no difference. Simply.com AI Connector is the name of our MCP Server, which is built on the Model Context Protocol.

Login takes place in the browser via OAuth 2.1, so there are no API keys or passwords to keep track of. The AI assistant is never given more permissions than the user themselves has on the account.

Access can be revoked at any time under Connected apps in the control panel.

No. Orders, cancellations and payments always take place on the website or in the control panel. The AI assistant can create an order link for a domain, but the purchase itself is completed by the user.

The REST API is ideal for automation without an AI assistant, such as scripts, cron jobs and CI/CD pipelines. Simply.com AI Connector is the right choice when tasks need to be solved in a conversation.

No. The task is described in plain words, e.g. "create a mail account for info@example.us", and the AI assistant takes care of the rest.
