Yes – create a subdomain, install 1‑click there, so the old site remains live until you move the new one to the main domain.
If you want to work on a new site while keeping the old one online, we recommend creating a subdomain for it.
You can set up a subdomain under the “Website” menu item in our control panel and, when you then install with 1‑click, select this as the domain under “Address / URL”.
This way your current site will remain visible on the domain, while you can access your 1‑click on the subdomain, e.g. test.yourdomain.co.uk.
When you want to put your new site online you can move it to the public_html folder. For most installations there are guides on how to move. Check this with the documentation for the specific system.
