If you want to transfer a .dk domain to a new registrant, this is also streamlined, so you can do it directly in our control panel.
When we start a domain transfer, it uses the details that are listed on the account. These details are found under Account → Account administration, and can be edited by clicking Change account details.

Which details are updated at Punktum dk, and how this is done, depends on whether a valid reseller‑managed Punktum dk user‑id is recorded on the account. This is shown in the “Punktum dk handle” field. If you are unsure whether your user‑id is reseller‑managed, please write to our support team and we can confirm it.

¶Transfer to a new owner

If you wish to transfer a .dk domain to an entirely new owner, you can update the name or company name, VAT number and address with the new owner’s contact information. You also need to remove the user‑id from the account.

When you save the details, a new user‑id will be generated with the new information and added to the account.
A transfer will then be started at Punktum dk to the new user‑id. The new owner will receive an email from Punktum dk about the transfer.

To complete the transfer, they must accept Punktum dk’s terms and conditions and undergo ID verification.

¶Transfer to an existing user‑id

If you have an existing user‑id that is managed by Simply.com and you want the domain transferred to it, you can enter it on your account and save the account details. This will start a transfer of all reseller‑managed domains on the account to the specified user‑id.
