You get 10 GB for your website, unlimited MySQL/Statistics, separate mail quotas and up to 5,000,000 files – no sharing of space as with competitors.
For example, a Basic Suite includes 10 GB of space for the web part of your solution, i.e. your website.
Unlimited space is provided for services such as MySQL databases, statistics, etc., and these do not count towards the 10 GB of space that comes with the purchased product.
Each individual mail account on a webhosting plan also has its own quota that comes with the webhosting plan, and which is not affected by the web part; if you need more space for a mail account you simply upgrade the webhosting.
This is different from many of our competitors, where the space on the product is shared between Web, Mail and MySQL – and therefore there can be many reasons why you suddenly run out of space. With us you only need to consider how much space your website and each mail account require, and nothing else.
You can always see how much space is remaining for your solution under “Website” in our Control Panel. If you are interested in exactly which files are using space, this can be done by browsing your webhosting with an FTP programme or our file manager.
On all web servers there is also an overall limit of 5,000,000 inodes/files per webhosting; this limit is set to ensure stable operation of our web servers.
