Import MySQL database
Import MySQL databases via phpMyAdmin, our control panel or an external administration tool, even with large .sql files.
You can import MySQL databases via:
- phpMyAdmin (https://mysql.simply.com)
- Our Import tool in our Control Panel.
- A MySQL administration programme
If the import file is too large to import through a web interface, an SQL administration programme can be used.
Importing a database via the Simply.com Control Panel
You can import a MySQL via our Control Panel, under the menu item “MySQL”.
- Import for another MySQL server (also from another Simply.com webhosting)
- Import from .sql file
This tool can also be used to copy databases between webhosting accounts.
