Limitations on FTP
PHP Suites have a limit of 8 simultaneous FTP connections per user; wait for automatic closure and set your FTP client to fewer connections if needed.
On all PHP Suites there is a limit of 8 simultaneous connections per user. Some FTP programs may create multiple connections to optimise speed, and the limit of 8 simultaneous connections can therefore be reached relatively easily.
This is particularly a problem with the programs CuteFTP and FileZilla.
If too many connections are made, we simply recommend waiting for the connections to close automatically, and then, if necessary, configuring the FTP program in question to use fewer, or just one, simultaneous connections.
There is no speed limit on FTP transfers.
