This is a guide to the values you typically need to use to set up e‑mail in any mail client.

The address of the incoming server is mail.simply.com.
The port for the incoming server for POP3 is 110.
The port for the incoming server for IMAP is 143.
TLS / STARTTLS can be used.
The username is always your full e‑mail address, as shown in your Mail Administration.
For example, it could be mail@yourdomain.dk.
This is the password you chose when you created the e‑mail account in our Mail Administration. If you have forgotten it, you can simply reset it via our Mail Administration.
Instead, we recommend using complex and long passwords, sometimes called “app‑passwords”, preferably over 20 characters, and always ensuring you connect with SSL/TLS enabled.
The address of the outgoing server is smtp.simply.com.
You can use port 587 to send through it.
TLS / STARTTLS can be used.
If you use smtp.simply.com, you must also tick “Outgoing mail server requires authentication”, i.e. log in to the outgoing server with username and password. See our other support posts for more information.
The username and password for the outgoing server are the same as for the incoming server, i.e. your e‑mail address and the password for it.
The domain's MX record must be set to mx.simply.com.
This is done automatically by our system and is therefore only relevant if you manage DNS yourself through a provider other than Simply.com.
