Setting up mail on Microsoft Surface
This guide helps you set up an IMAP email address on a Microsoft Surface Tablet.
Make sure IMAP is enabled on the mail account, under Mail administration in our control panel.
- Under Settings, select Accounts
- Choose “Add an account”
- Choose “Other account”
- Choose “IMAP”

Enter your email address, username (which is your full email address) and password. Replace the example email address with your own email address.

“Incoming (IMAP) email server” should be mail.simply.com

Disable “Incoming server requires SSL”

“Outgoing (SMTP) email server” should be <strong>smtp.simply.com</strong>.

Disable “Outgoing server requires SSL”

Enable “Outgoing server requires authentication”

Enable “Use the same username and password to send and receive email”
- Press “Connect” when everything is filled in.
