Changing name servers
You can change your domain's name servers in the control panel under DNS → Set name servers, but incorrect configuration can affect web and email.
Name servers for a domain managed via Simply.com can be changed via our control panel.
It is done as follows:
- Log in to the control panel: https://www.simply.com/controlpanel/
- Select the domain you want to manage.
- Click DNS in the menu on the left.
- Click the button
Set name servers, which is located below the table with DNS records. - Delete all the filled fields and insert the desired name servers.
The name servers must meet the requirements set by the individual registry. If the requirements are not met, the Control Panel will advise on any problems with the name server configuration.
Please note that if you do this, and the DNS configuration on the chosen name servers is not correct, you may risk both web hosting and e‑mail stopping functioning.
