Setting up mail in Outlook (new)

How to set up your Simply.com email in Outlook (new) with IMAP and SMTP settings

This guide assumes you have already set up your e‑mail account via E‑Mail in our control panel.

  1. Enter your e‑mail address in the field.

  1. Choose the mail provider to be IMAP.

  1. Now you need to enter the mail account's password and turn "Show more" on and turn "Use recommended settings" off.

  1. Scroll down and enter the following:
  • Incoming IMAP server: mail.simply.com
  • Port: 993
  • Encryption method: SSL/TLS

  1. Now you need to enter the SMTP username and password.

Here the e‑mail address should be entered and the mail account's password.

  1. Scroll down and enter the following:
  • Outgoing SMTP server: smtp.simply.com
  • Port: 587
  • Encryption method: StartTLS

  1. A number of steps will now appear that you need to accept / follow in order to get the mail into Outlook (New).

  1. After that, the mail should work and appear in Outlook (New).
